SkySnap Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of personal and technical data related to SkySnap is the entity operating the Service (“Operator,” “we”). Privacy requests: privacy@skysnap.app.

Service terms are in our Terms of Service (ToS).

2. Data we collect

Depending on features you use, we may process:

• account and device identifiers (including those generated locally or on our servers);
• photo metadata (time, moderation status, expected reward amount);
• balance data, payout history, welcome reward, and wallet activity;
• crypto wallet addresses if you provide them for withdrawals;
• crash logs, app version, interface language, device type;
• support tickets and email correspondence.

We do not require government ID for basic app use unless explicitly needed for legal compliance or withdrawal procedures.

3. Device permissions

The app may request camera access for sky captures, storage or All Files Access for gallery-related and background sync features, and other permissions shown by Android.

You may deny permissions; some features may then be unavailable. Manage permissions in your device settings.

4. Photos and media

Photos captured in SkySnap or selected for upload may be sent to moderation and storage servers to enforce rules and credit rewards.

We do not use your photos in public advertising without separate consent. De-identified or aggregated statistics may be used to improve moderation and Service reliability.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we take reasonable steps to remove related media from servers, except backups and data we must retain by law.

5. Technical and analytics data

We may log in-app events (screen views, successful uploads, network errors) as needed for diagnostics and abuse prevention. IP address and user-agent may be processed when you use our API or download pages.

Cookies and similar technologies on the download site may be used for basic page operation; marketing cookies are not used without separate notice.

6. Purposes of processing

1. providing capture, moderation, and reward features;
2. administering the welcome roulette and balance;
3. processing withdrawals and preventing fraud;
4. customer support and responding to inquiries;
5. legal compliance and dispute resolution;
6. improving the Service using aggregated statistics.

Legal bases may include contract performance (Terms of Service), legitimate interests in security, and consent where required by applicable law.

7. Sharing with third parties

Data may be shared with:

• hosting and cloud infrastructure providers;
• moderation and anti-fraud vendors;
• payment and crypto providers when you withdraw;
• public authorities when legally required.

Where applicable, third parties are bound by confidentiality and processing instructions under contract or standard terms.

8. Retention and security

We retain data as long as needed for processing purposes, financial records, and dispute resolution, unless a longer period is required by law.

We use organizational and technical measures including access controls, HTTPS/TLS encryption, and backups. Absolute security on the internet cannot be guaranteed.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy;
• correct inaccurate data;
• request erasure where we lack lawful grounds to keep data;
• restrict or object to processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age set by local law). If we learn we collected a child’s data without parental consent, we will delete it within a reasonable time.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this PoS by posting a new version on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app.
